The Pederson Group has been retained by Hipperson Construction to conduct a search for a Project Coordinator!

With decades of experience, Hipperson has a demonstrated track record as a general contractor, design-builder, construction manager, and supplier of pre-engineered steel buildings!
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating schedules, trades, contracts and tenders on various construction projects, including pre-engineered steel buildings, concrete foundations, commercial/industrial renovations and new building construction.
Responsibilities:

Assist in managing and scheduling materials and manpower while ensuring effective project completion for Hipperson’s clients.

Estimate commercial, industrial and civil construction projects ranging in size from $500,000 to multi-million dollar values.

Maintain established relationships with architectural and engineering consultants.

Work closely with clients and client representatives in all aspects of project stages.

Monitor and enforce strict compliance with quality and safety programs.

Collaborate with Hipperson’s network of qualified suppliers and sub-contractors to deliver quality outcomes for clients.

Prepare progress reports, construction schedules, milestones and monitor progress against established schedules.
Experience and Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural technologies, or construction management.

Prior experience in project coordination or estimating is preferred.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Projects.

Proficient in using construction management software such as ProCore.

Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
