The Site Superintendent will be responsible for leading on-site construction operations for commercial, institutional and multi-family projects. This includes coordinating trades, managing site personnel, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to client expectations.
Responsibilities:

Lead on-site construction operations to ensure projects meet quality standards, budget requirements and timelines.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors on-site to ensure their work is meeting schedule and quality specifications.

Manage the successful delivery and profitability of projects while building long-term client relationships.

Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

Promote M Builds’ values, policies and safety culture while maintaining strong relationships with clients, employees, trade partners and suppliers.

Lead by example in upholding M Builds’ standards, safety culture and reputation on every project.

Monitor sub-trade quality of work and direct corrective actions where required.
Experience and Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5 years of construction experience is required, with a preference for candidates with a background working on large-scale projects valued at $30 million or more.

Journeyperson certification in carpentry/comparable trade or equivalent experience is required.

Proven track record of ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations and applicable construction requirements.

Comprehensive knowledge of construction operations, including quality, safety, scheduling, estimating, technology, equipment, materials, negotiation and project management.

Experience with scheduling, resource allocation and progress tracking.

Experience with Microsoft Office, Timberline, BIM and AutoCAD.

Strong leadership, management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of technical accuracy.
