The Pederson Group has been retained by Avana to conduct a search for a Site Superintendent to lead their projects in Regina and across Saskatchewan! Established in 2014, Avana is a leading Saskatchewan-based real estate developer and enterprise proud of their female-led, family-owned values. With over $400 million in assets, Avana made the Top 10 on the Canadian Business and Maclean’s 2020 and 2023 Growth List of the top 500 companies in Canada. This ranking marked the first time in history that a female-led company from Saskatchewan broke the Growth List’s Top 10. Over the next three years, Avana is investing over $700M to add over 2,100 housing units, enabling 6,000 people access to affordable housing and 3,000 employment opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Planning and Construction, the Site Superintendent will be responsible for organizing, directing, and controlling construction activities while ensuring safety compliance on-site, as well as leading Avana’s development portfolio. This includes managing high-quality multi-unit, residential, and commercial projects while assuring that construction processes and activities adhere to established design, budget, and project scheduling guidelines. This role will work closely with the Project Manager to support Avana’s development growth in Regina and nationally.

Wright has been a leader in the construction industry for over a century and is the longest-operating construction company in Saskatchewan! Since opening shop in 1905, Wright Construction has developed a reputation as a trusted industry leader within the commercial, institutional, mixed-use and industrial spaces across Canada and has successfully performed numerous general contracting, design-build, public-private partnerships (P3s) and construction management projects ranging from British Columbia to Ontario. Wright and its predecessor companies were involved in monumental structures in Saskatoon, such as the Delta Bessborough Hotel, UnitedChurch on Third Avenue, and several original U of S Buildings. Wright has been awarded Butler “Builder of the Year” and “Top Volume Builder” in Canada many times over the last decade. Reporting to the Director of Construction, the Site Superintendent will supervise and coordinate site crews’ activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This position requires working on-site, potentially across Western Canada.

The Pursuit and Design Manager will prioritize building successful teams for proposal development and delivery, planning for execution, as well as bridging the communications between the client and the project execution team to create an environment for successful project delivery.
